It is clear that the function of pharmaceutical wholesalers varies from country to country. On the other hand, guaranteed patient access to medical services in emergency situations is a challenge in every country. In Japan pharmaceutical wholesalers were able to quickly fulfill their roles as distributors, collect information about local supply.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
