Background Since the first report of AIDS in the US in 1980, HIV infection has affected every country, and led to 1.6 million lives lost globally. The rapid advances in HIV drug discovery, development, and approval processes would not have been possible without the concerted efforts of the scientific, pharmaceutical, regulatory, and activist.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
