[Background and Aims] Bile salt export pump (BSEP) is localized on canalicular membrane of hepatocytes and plays a role of bile acids (BAs) efflux into bile. Dysfunction of BSEP may lead to cholestatic liver injury due to BAs accumulation in hepatocytes. We have constructed a method using sandwich cultured hepatocytes (SCHs) to evaluate..
