Tuberculosis remains a significant infectious disease and the emergence of MDR, XDR and TDR strains has worsened the global burden. There is an urgent need to identify new drug targets and obtain new inhibitors. DprE1 enzyme is a key enzyme for the synthesis of the arabinan which is a necessary component of synthesizing the M. tuberculosis cell..
