Hintonia stlandeyana showed significant hypoglycemic and antihyperglicemic effects. Several known compounds, of organic extract of the stem bark, were isolated and identified, one of them is named 4-phenylcoumarin. Drug discovery includes studying some physicochemical characterizations to obtain solubility-pH profile, pka and partition..
