Diltiazem hydrochloride (DLT)
is a class III anti-anginal, and a class IV antiarrhythmic calcium channel blocker undergoing extensive first pass metabolism with an absolute bioavailability of 40%.
Formulating
DLT
in the form of
intranasal niosomal
dosage form may offer an alternative to the oral route, since niosomes protect the hydrophilic drug.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
