    Use of hemodialysis catheters is complicated by catheter-related blood stream infections (CRBSI) and thrombosis, causing morbidity and mortality. Use of antimicrobials and antithrombics in a catheter lock solution might reduce incidence of CRBSI and prevent catheter removal.
