Nuclear pharmacy services were first offered in large medical centers. The first pharmacy services are commonly attributed to a radioisotope laboratory in Chicago in the early 1950's. Not many years later Captain William (Bill) Briner provided pharmacy services at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and established the NIH Radiopharmacy...
