    At the Danish health system all patients is registered with a GP and the GP acting as a gatekeeper to secondary care. The number of GPs and Pharmacies is regulated in any particular area. GPs are paid on a capitation basis for about 10% of their income and per consultation. GPs tend to work on their own or with one or two other doctors in
