  • Abstract:

    Ketorolac tromethamine (KT) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug having a half-life around 6 hours. Formulation of KT in a sustained released form can be beneficial not only in reducing dose frequency but also in minimizing the severity of KT adverse reactions.
