Background
Skeletal muscle related complaints are the main reason, why patients discontinue their statin therapy.Methods
Fourteen statin therapy patients aged 37 to 78 years (64% females) and 14 age- and gender matched healthy volunteers as a control group were enrolled in the five-month study. Skeletal muscle tone, elasticity and stiffness..
