BackgroundT cell play a central role in adaptive immune response. Differentiation-inducing factor-1 (DIF-1), a chlorinated alkylphenone, was found in the cellular slime mold Dictyostelium discoideum. DIF derivatives were found to promote mitogen-activated IL-2 production via AP-1 in Jurkat cells, while the effect on primary T cell is not yet.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
