Aims: To synthesise mucoadhesive conjugates of beta-cyclodextrin (ßCD) with poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) for the purpose of controlled drug delivery and to investigate how different reaction conditions affect the physicochemical properties of the conjugates.
Methods: The conjugates were synthesised as follows. A mixture of 15 mL thionyl chloride.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
