    Methods

    This was a longitudinal study undertaken from April 2014 to March 2015. Patients with a systolic blood pressure (SBP) ≥160mmHg and/or a diastolic blood pressure (DBP) ≥100mmHg were identified. Patients were assessed with a baseline BP reading at initial review and a repeat reading following recommended changes to their hypertension..
