The aim of this study was 1) to investigate the behaviour of ciprofloxacin, a BCS Class IV weakly basic drug, under conditions simulating the upper GI tract in humans using in vitro dissolution in single media, in a two-stage method and in transfer experiments and 2) to simulate the plasma..
