Backgrounds
Various idiosyncratic adverse drug reactions have been reported to be associated with human leukocyte antigen (HLA) genotypes, however; the underlying molecular mechanisms of these associations have remained to be elucidated. To date, the detailed mechanisms were demonstrated only in the case of abacavir-induced hypersensitivity..
