    Taking Universal Precautions in Health Literacy is a systematic approach to reduce the risks and consequences of poor health literacy. Poor or limited health literacy is highly prevalent, leading to significant negative therapeutic outcomes for individual patients as well as extra burden and resource waste for health services and organisations.
