Adherence to any medication can have an effect on patient outcomes, but especially so in oncology. Complex regimens, handling precautions, communication among providers, side effects and supportive care, and access to and costs of medications can often make adherence in this population more challenging; lack of adherence can have serious impacts.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
