  • Abstract:

Opioids like morphine are well known for their addictive properties. It is established that the faster a drug crosses the CNS, the higher addictive potential it produces. Poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) nanoparticles (NPs) have been shown to increase bioavailability, decrease side effects of toxic drugs and prolong drug release.
