  • Abstract:

    Streptomyces are well known as one of important industrial microorganisms for their production of naturally derived antibiotics. However, the research of exopolysaccharide(EPS) in Streptomyces was not reported despite of our lab. Streptomyces sp. 139 produces a novel EPS designated Ebosin with remarkable anti-rheumatic arthritis activity in vivo..
