  • Abstract:

Introduction: Approximately one million women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year worldwide. Breast cancer is the most common cancer found in women in Europe (180000 patients per year), and it represents 20% of all malignancies. Excluding skin cancer, breast cancer accounts for almost 30% of all cancers among women in the US.
