    Poor adherence to medication among hypertensive patients has been documented to be associated with poor outcomes, associated target organ damage, reduction of quality of life and death. In assessing adherence, structured questionnaires are convenient tools and can aid pharmacists in identifying influential beliefs that predict adherence.
