New drug molecules are increasingly poorly soluble. Consequently, there is a demand to develop and refine methods to increase drug solubility. Amorphous materials generally have a higher solubility than crystalline materials, but they are also inherently physically unstable.
Amorphous xylitol was prepared by melting xylitol followed by quench.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
