  Vorinostat (VRS) is a histone deacetylase inhibitor that has been approved for the treatment of cancer which can effectively induce cell cycle arrest, cell differentiation, and apoptosis. However, the clinical efficacy of VRS has been limited by its poor aqueous solubility and low permeability.
