Good logistics support (pharmacy is considered logistics) in a war zone is essential for a favourable outcome of the battle. In a military context, a pharmacy, or more likely a medical logistics department, will deploy as part of a military hospital. The depth into the battle zone a military hospital deploys is determined by the battle commander.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
