Increasing human life expectancies in many countries around the world are placing significant burdens on health care. People are living longer, using more medicines and regularly accessing health services including end-of-life or palliative care. Most patients prefer to be palliated at home under the care of a family member and/or community.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
