Medicines use presents increasing risks to patient safety through greater volume, complexity, novelty and diversity of drug action. New technology inherently poses new risks of unpredicted adverse effects (AEs) with the known risks from dose-related AEs. Dose-related AEs arise when prescribers or patients inadvertently use excessive doses...
