AIMS: To investigate the clinical effect of parenteral Cefuroxime (CFX) and Amoxycillin (AMX) in children admitted to hospital for infection of urinary tract.
METHODS: 34 children (age 2 to 13 years) were selected for this study. The clinical criteria for selection were: fever, bacteriuria assessed by bladder puncture, positive C reactiv protein..
