The main aim of the study was to optimize hot melt impregnation (HMI) process of ibuprofen to assure possibly highest amorphisation rate. Amorphisation in most cases should increase dissolution rate and enhance the performance of the drug. Design of experiments (DoE) has been employed to prepare experimental plan.
