Background
There are currently an estimated 16,000 prescription drugs available on the Japan National Health Insurance Drug List. In an ageing society, however, many of these drugs are not in the optimal formulations that meet the needs of individual, elderly patients. Customising drugs into unique dosage forms appropriate to patient requirements..
