Background
The Pharmacists in Emergency Departments (PIED) study (UK 2016, 49 sites, 18,613 patients) identified 494 advanced clinical skills that could be taught to pharmacists to maximize their ability to manage patients attending hospital EDs [1]. Clinically Enhanced Pharmacy Independent Prescribing (CEPIP) courses were developed as a result.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
