Background
About 14.1% of Australians reported having difficulty swallowing medications. People who find it hard to swallow pills (tablets, capsules) may not necessarily have an issue swallowing food and drink. Existing screening tools for swallowing difficulties lack the components necessary to identify people who only have an issue swallowing.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
