Sansalvamide A 1 is a cyclic depsipeptide, isolated from a marine fungus of the genus Fusarium by Belofsky 1. The depsipeptide exhibits inhibitor of MCV topoisomerase. The corresponding amide derivatives, sansalvamide A cyclic peptide demonstrated a more significant antitumor activity 2.Previous work by us 3 and McAlpine’s group 4 reported..
