  The investigational site is critical to providing high quality clinical research. The pharmacist plays a central role in the pharmaceutical aspects of clinical trials. Pharmacists' responsibilities in clinical trials, with both approved drugs as well as investigational medications, have expanded and include activities at multiple levels.
