FIP LEADERS ARE RECOGNISED

FIP is very pleased to report that several FIP leaders have recently been recognised for their outstanding work: Our own FIP President Dr Kamal K. Midha has been awarded an Honorary Membership to the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPSGB) of Great Britain.

Prof Shalom (Charlie) Benrimoj, a recent FIP Fellowship recipient and President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (NSW Branch), has been awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain.

Prof Philip J Schneider, Chairman of the FIP Board of Pharmaceutical Practice and the director of administrative and professional affairs at the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy in Phoenix, USA has awarded the American Society for Health-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP) 2008 Harvey A.K. Whitney Lecture Award.

And Mr Ton Hoek, CEO and General Secretary of FIP was awarded the  “PHARMACY PRACTICE AWARD 2008” by the University of Utrecht Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences for his outstanding contribution to international pharmacy.
