Guidelines 

This document provides an overview of current EU legislation regarding tobacco control. Primary legislation is indezed by category and a summary of each document is provided, along with dates of publication and enforcement, and a link to the full text. The document has been prepared by the European Network for Smoking Prevention (ENSP).

A database including examples of local community pharmacy based smoking cessation projects. The database is hosted by the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee, UK.

This Current Care Guideline, Smoking, nicotine dependency and interventions for cessation was developed by the Guideline Group appointed by the Finnish Association for General Practice. These guidelines are a joint initiative of Pharmaceutical Society of Australia, The Pharmacy Guild of Australia and Pharmacia Australia Pty Ltd. They are a practical guide for pharmacists and pharmacy assistants in delivering smoking cessation services. Its aim is to provide practical guidance on linking the theory of evidence-based smoking cessation to pharmacy practice. A "quick guide" is also available.

This statement was developed cooperatively by the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists, Canadian Association of Social Workers, Canadian Dental Association, Canadian Medical Association, Canadian Nurses Association, Canadian Pharmacists Association, Canadian Physiotherapy Association, Canadian Psychological Association, and Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists.
