Dr Vivien Tong is an early career researcher based in the Faculty of Pharmacy at The University of Sydney. Vivien completed her PhD under the supervision of Professor Parisa Aslani and Professor DK Theo Raynor in both Australia and the UK. She was the 2014 recipient of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) Young Pharmacists' Group Grant for Professional Innovation. At present, Vivien is the FIP Health and Medicines Information Section Executive Committee Member Representative for Asia/Pacific. Her primary research areas of interest include written medicine information, health literacy, and health communication to support the quality use of medicines by consumers.
