Nkechi Christana Anyanwu is currently the Director/Head of Department of PHarmacy in FEderal Medical Centre, Owerri ,Nigeria.FEderal MEdical Centre is a Federal Government tertiary health facility in Nigeria.She is also a member of the Top Management Committee and the PRoject Manager of Drug Revolving Fund.SHe has the following degrees:B.pharm,Pharm.D,MBA(Poject MAnagement),Msc(BIotechnology and Innovation).She also has the Pharmacy Leadership academy certificate of ASHP and also Fellowship of West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists.She has served the Pharmacy profession in various capacities both at National and International levels.She was a one time Chairman of National Association of Hospital and Administrative Pharmacists and currently is the Vice President representing Africa in the Hospital Pharmacy Section of FIP.She is a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria and has won several awards including the Platinum Mentorship award of the Nigerian young Pharmacists group and the prestigious May and Baker award for excellence in HOspital Pharmacy practice.She is a resource person for Pharmacists Council of Nigeria has presented several papers at both national and international conferences.She has over 20 published papers in both local and international journal.She is married with six children.Her hobby includes reading and writing.
