Biographies Speakers


Gregory Duncan is a Senior Research Fellow in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, and also works as an independent health services consultant. He has a background in hospital, community and academic pharmacy in both Australia and the UK. He was the Principal Investigator of a federally funded project to enhance the skills of pharmacists and pharmacy assistants in communicating with patients with health literacy as the primary consideration. He has been teaching wound care to health professionals for many years from undergraduate through to professional development levels and conducting research on wound care service delivery. Greg has been teaching a wide range of undergraduate subjects including Pharmaco-epidemiology, Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) and Public Health. Greg is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Wound Practice and Research and the International Journal of Clinical Pharmacy. He is a peer reviewer for these journals as well as the Journal of the American Pharmacists Association, Human Resources for Health, Asia-Pacific Journal of Public Health, Pharmacy Education, Australian Pharmacist, the Journal of Social and Administrative Pharmacy and Drugs and Ageing. He is not the world’s tallest pharmacist as he once claimed!
