Dr. Fe-Lin Lin Wu (also known as Hui-Ling Lin) is Associate Professor and the former Director of Graduate Institute of Clinical Pharmacy at National Taiwan University (NTU), Pharmacist and the former Director of Department of Pharmacy at National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH), Section Chief of Pharmacy at Cancer Center of NTU, the President Elect of the Asian Association of Schools of Pharmacy (AASP), and the President of Taiwan Society of Health-System Pharmacists (TSHP). She is a member of the Pharmacy Board, and a surveyor for teaching hospital accreditation of JCTHO. She is an initiator of the graduate study in clinical pharmacy, 6-year PharmD, post-graduate training in Taiwan, and received many awards, including 2012 Outstanding Pharmacy Educator Award from AASP. She has been actively involved in policy making and 59 projects to improve drug safety and pharmacy education, which include teaching hospital accreditation and national harmonization of pharmacy practice experience and pharmacist post graduate training program in Taiwan, and was conferredoutstanding contribution award from TSHP in 2011. Dr. Wu received B.S. in Pharmacy from NTU, M.S. in clinical pharmacy from St John’s University in New York, and Ph.D. from NTU. During her 38-year service at NTUH, she leads the colleagues to implement UDDDS, medication error and ADR reporting program, clinical pharmacy services in family medicine and ICU, transplant patient education, immunosuppressant protocols for heart and kidney transplantation, a novel COPE & CDSS, a robotic arm for chemo compounding, electronic inventory management system, OR pharmacy, and anticoagulant clinics. Her research interest includes optimizing drug therapy through pharmacokinetics and drug safety study, and has published 117 journal articles, 8 book chapters, and edited 3 books in the past 24 years.
