Biographies Speakers


Whitley Yi obtained her PharmD from the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. As a student, she was involved with the American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) as an International VP Co-Chair and completed two studies with the committee on international Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) rotations at the University of Colorado. Whitley has also been an active member of the International Pharmaceutical Students' Federation (IPSF) since 2014. She served as the Internship Coordinator in 2015, then was elected as the 2015-2016 Chairperson of Pharmacy Education. During her mandate, she oversaw initiation of two new international research projects and co-organized the Scientific and Educational Symposia for the 61st IPSF World Congress in Zimbabwe . As an advocate for the advancement of pharmacy education, she lead IPSF's efforts to ensure student contribution to the FIP Nanjing Statements and Pharmaceutical Workforce Development Goals. She is currently serving as the IPSF Research Coordinator and is completing a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of North Carolina Medical Center in Chapel Hill.
