Welcome to the FIP Congress in Hyderabad!
Let's meet in India
After several years of staying close to Europe, the 2011 FIP Congress is once again venturing into yet-unvisited lands, this time bringing participants to Hyderabad, India. An up-and-coming global centre point for research and information/technology development – and often referred to as ‘Cyberabad’ by the IT sector – the city that lies about 700km southwest of Mumbai is gaining a reputation of its own alongside India’s cultural capitals. Hyderabad is eager to fulfill the expectations of the thousands who come each year for meetings and conferences, including those joining their peers and colleagues within pharmacy practice and sciences for the 2011 FIP Congress.
FIP and our partners in the Indian Pharmaceutical Association, the India Host Committee are equally as enthusiastic in welcoming participants to the 71st FIP World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Under the theme “Compromising quality and safety – a risky path”, all are encouraged to join in the discussion as to how pharmacy practitioners and scientists may best ensure the delivery of safe, quality and responsibly used medicines.
Those who visit the FIP Congress in Hyderabad will also be immersed in the rich sights, sounds and traditions of India. In close proximity to the new, modern Congress events lies the stunning Golconda Fort and Qutub Shahi Tombs, centuries old and showcasing a beautiful mix of architectural cultures, in addition to museums, bazaars and monuments that dot the city. And for those wishing to see the most world-renowned Indian cities, Hyderabad is never more than a two hour flight from highlights such as Delhi, Mumbai and Goa.
The 2011 FIP Congress in Hyderabad will not only bring participants to a new corner of the globe, but to a new level of connecting with others on a global platform of professional learning and growth.
Let’s meet in Hyderabad – Take the journey with us!
