The FIP Congress welcomes you!

Towards a Future Vision for Complex Patients

Integrated Care in a Dynamic Continuum

Coming fresh off the heels of the FIP Centennial Congress in 2012, which launched FIP, the profession and our partners into a new era of healthcare development, the 2013 FIP Congress in Dublin is dedicated to following through with the agenda set at the previous year’s monumental meeting.

This new era brings with it much hope: ground breaking science, innovative treatments and medicines and cross-professional care. But it also brings with it a level of complexity never seen before in the pharmacy and healthcare environment. As more opportunities become available to patients – whether they be medicines, therapies or healthcare providers – often the more complex their care becomes.

As such, the 2013 FIP Congress in Dublin, co-hosted with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI), is focusing on the growing complexity of patient care. The programme addresses this complexity not only in the context of the newest and most advanced treatment methods – how they are being discovered, delivered and discussed – but also in patients themselves; the biology, chemistry, mentality and sociology that affect how patients react to this increasingly complex environment of care. Together, the solutions can be discovered. Join your peers and colleagues in Dublin and navigate this complex path together.
