  • Abstract:

    Background: Poor quality drugs are a big issue in Southeast Asia. Most published reports concerning low quality malaria drugs in Thailand come from areas that are geographically close to Burma or Cambodia. Occurrence of counterfeit and substandard drugs is expected to be higher in these remote regions due to poor border control and sale of drugs
