It is with an awareness of the present and a vision of the future that FIP and the Swiss Association of Pharmacists - pharmaSuisse welcome you to the 68th FIP Congress in Basel. Inspired by such global factors as changes in the provision of healthcare, patient demographics, epidemics and technology, the 2008 FIP Congress will take a thorough look at how pharmacy can and needs to be reengineered to meet the challenges of our ever changing surroundings.
Under the theme of Reengineering Pharmacy Practice in a Changing World, we are pleased to see you join your international peers and colleagues in pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical sciences to discuss current trends and issues facing our profession, and how we can best prepare ourselves to be influential healthcare providers now and in the future. With over fifty sessions and workshops, many of them fully accredited, the FIP Congress offers you the invaluable experiences of professional growth, networking, knowledge exchange and interaction with leaders in pharmacy practice and science.
