    Methods

    This study involves the synthesis of a series of hybrid urea/thiourea derivatives (1-8) containing chalcone moiety. The synthesized compounds were characterized by FT-IR, NMR, Mass spectroscopy and evaluated for their both in vitro and in vivo antidiabetic activity.
