  • Abstract:

    Methods

    A questionnaire having demographic and17 questions related to use, quality, safety and efficacy of herbal medicines was used. The data was collected from March to April 2015 among the public in Penang Island, Malaysia and analyzed using SPSS 20.0

    Results

    Respond rate was 94.4% (472 out of 500) and 43.6% respondents were herbal medicines..
