    Methods

    Synaptosomes were isolated from the brain of Wistar albino rats and incubated at 37oC for 1 hour in the presence of WSiA and WPA in a concentration range of 1 × 10–7 - 1 × 10–3 mol/L. Antioxidant enzyme activities and malondialdehyde level were determined by standard spectrophotometric methods.
