  • Abstract:

Gene therapy inserts genes into cells to create new cellular function or to reverse cellular dysfunction. The advancements in the field of gene therapy have developed into two different strategies: ex vivo and in vivo gene delivery. There is interestingly encouraging progress in clinical use of gene-based therapy for a variety of diseases.
