Pharmacy Information Section Stipend
Congress Stipend
Goal
The stipend is to support pharmacists or pharmacy students from developing countries to attend one FIP Congress. Preference will be given to first-time attendees.
Conditions
• The application should be submitted by a pharmacist working in drug or healthcare information, or by a student involved in research in drug or healthcare information.
• Recipients will attend the Section business meeting and other relevant sessions as arranged by the Secretary prior to the Congress.
• Recipients will present a report on their participation in the Congress for publication in the Section's newsletter Info-Link.
Application
Applications must include:
• curriculum vitae
• description of current employment and/or research project (not longer than one page A4) and how attendance at the Congress will benefit the applicant
• estimate of the total cost of attending the Congress
• declaration by the applicant's supervisor that the applicant's circumstances comply with the stipend's conditions
• declaration that the applicant will accept the stipend conditions and will agree that the decision by the Executive Committee is not subject to appeal.
Level of support
The maximum support for one recipient is 1000 euro. Two stipends may be offered each year to cover registration (maximum 500 euro).
Deadline for submission
